1. What is TravelPulse ?

TravelPulse is a smart Telematics device for smart car owners. Specially designed for Indian conditions, TravelPulse is your car's virtual bodyguard when it comes to securing your car, and the people in it. It helps you locate your car when stolen, geo-fences it to avoid towing surprises, instantly alerts you when it crosses your pre-set speed limit, gives you real-time physical location on a map, and much more. Backed with a dedicated 24 x 7 Call Centre, a mechanic or a towing van is just a phone call away.

3. How does TravelPulse tracking work?

TravelPulse uses advanced GPS technology which helps you accurately track your car in real-time, anytime, anywhere. Our robust reporting system and intuitive dashboard not only displays the exact location of your car on Google Maps, but also displays your vehicle number, the direction in which your car is travelling, the real-time speed of your car, Engine On/Off, AC On/Off, Idling etc. Everything you need to know about your car is available at the click of a button on our mobile or web app.

4. How accurate is TravelPulse's tracking?

TravelPulse's tracking system is very precise. It continuously evaluates the motion of your car and depending on its speed, distance and direction; it sends the data to our servers at interval of 10 seconds. As a result, the tracks projected on Google Map are very precise.

5. What is Virtual Boundary?

Virtual Boundary (Geo-fencing) is a highly advanced technology which lets you draw an imaginary boundary around your car on a map. Our smart alert system immediately sends you notifications the moment your car moves out of your pre-drawn boundary. E.g. If your driver takes out your car from your pre-defined parking area, TravelPulse will instantly send you an alert.

6. What are the kinds of Alerts & Reports that I can see?

TravelPulse's robust reporting system provides you customizable reports to receive alerts for Engine ON/OFF, AC ON/OFF, Geo-fencing deviations, Daily Travelled Report, etc.

7. What is Replay Report?

Replay Report displays where your car travelled during a particular time period. E.g. If you want to know which all places your car traveled, Replay Report will show you the exact locations of the car traveled. (Refer Silver / Gold / Platinum package )

8. Can I see the real-time speed and location of my car?

Yes. Just login to the TravelPulse Mobile or Web App and you can see it.

9. Can TravelPulse help me reduce my car's running costs?

Yes. TravelPulse can help you reduce running costs by giving you detailed reports about critical factors like over speeding, idling time, etc. which consume maximum fuel.

E.g. Average Fuel Saved/day: 2 litres (Due To: Excess Idling, Extra Run, Wrong Routes, Fuel Theft, etc.)

Vehicle Driven/month     : 22 days

Total Fuel saved/month  : 2*22=44 litres

Savings/month                : 44*78 = Rs. 3432/-

Savings/year                   : 3432*12 = Rs. 41184/-

10. What are RSA (Roadside Assistance) Services?

Roadside Assistance Services are a host of on-demand services for any on-road car trouble you encounter. These services can be availed directly from our mobile app, or by simply giving a call to our dedicated 24 x 7 Call Centre.

11. What are the services included in RSA?

Our RSA services include a host of value added services like Flat Tyre Replacement, Towing, Battery JumpStart, and Fuel Assistance in case of a drained fuel tank, etc.

• Flat Tyre: In case you get a flat tyre, all you have to do is contact us through the TravelPulse Mobile App or call our 24 x 7 Call Centre. TravelPulse will send you a mechanic within 60 mins to replace the flat tyre with your car's Stepney. This is a free of cost service. In case you don't have a Stepney or have two flat tyres, our mechanic will get them repaired. Repairing charges prevalent at market rates will have to be borne by you and paid to the mechanic directly.

• Towing: In case your car breaks down and can't be repaired on the spot, TravelPulse will help you get it towed to the nearest Service Centre, or a location of your choice. This is a free of cost service which can be availed only once a year for 3 years and is limited to 50 Kms from the location of your car. If the Service Centre or location of your choice is beyond 50 Kms, towing charges at prevalent market rates will have to be borne by you. In case your car needs towing multiple number of times in a year, TravelPulse will arrange a towing service provider for you. Towing charges at prevalent market rates will have to be borne by you and paid directly to the towing service provider.

• Battery Jump Start: In case of a weak or dead battery, TravelPulse will send you a mechanic who will jumpstart the battery so that you can be back on the road within minutes. You don't have to pay anything to the mechanic.

• Fuel Assistance: In case you run out of fuel mid-way, TravelPulse will arrange the delivery of 5 litres of Petrol/Diesel for you. Fuel charges at prevalent market rate will have to be borne by you and paid directly to the fuel carrier.

12. What do I do if my car breaks down in middle of the road?

All you have to do is just contact us through the TravelPulse Mobile App or call our 24 x 7 Call Centre and TravelPulse will send you a mechanic within 60 mins. You don't have to pay anything to the mechanic for attending the car and for minor repairs without spare parts. In case of major repairing you have to pay the repairing charges and spare part costs at prevalent market rates.

13. Do you provide pan-India service?

Yes. (Refer Silver / Gold / Platinum package )

14. In case the car repair is taking a long time, can you arrange a taxi for me? Who will take the responsibility of my car in that case?

Yes, TravelPulse can arrange a Taxi for you. The taxi fare will be at prevalent market rates and have to be borne by you. In such situation, TravelPulse will take responsibility of your car.

15. What do I do if my car is stolen?

Just login to the TravelPulse Mobile App or call our 24 x 7 Call Centre to know the exact location of your car.

16. What is Ignition /AC - ON/OFF Alert?

Whenever your car is in idling state, i.e. the engine is kept on with either AC ON / OFF, TravelPulse system gives you first alert after 10 minutes followed by another reminder after next 10 minutes.

17. How many Emergency contacts can be added to my profile?

3 contacts can be added to your profile.

18. Can I share my car location with my family members 24*7?

Yes.

19. Does TravelPulse device support tamper alert?

Yes.

20. What is the guarantee of the TravelPulse device?

TravelPulse comes with 3 years replacement warranty. In the rare case, where your TravelPulse device stops working / malfunctions, just call our 24 x 7 Call Centre and we will get it replaced.

21. What if I want to contact you but have lost my mobile phone with registered mobile number?

Simply call our 24 x 7 Call Centre, verify your credentials and register an alternate mobile number.

22. Who will install TravelPulse device in my car? What are the installation charges?

TravelPulse's authorized mechanic will do the installation. There are no installation charges.

23. What are Sim Charges?

TravelPulse device price is inclusive of Sim charges.

24. How can I track my car if it is out of mobile coverage area?

TravelPulse devices store data packets on the device itself. These packets are instantly sent to our servers the moment your car comes in a mobile coverage area. Your car is constantly connected with our system and there is no chance of data loss even when your car is out of a mobile coverage area.

25. Where can I buy TravelPulse?

You can buy TravelPulse from our Authorized Dealers or contact us to facilitate the same.

26. In which cities TravelPulse is currently available?

TravelPulse is currently available in Mumbai (MMR), Pune, Nagpur, Delhi (Including Gurugram & Noida), Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow.

27. Will I get any discount on my car insurance if I install TravelPulse?

Yes. Based on driving behaviour parameters like overspeeding, harsh braking, harsh acceleration, KM travelled, few insurance companies are planning to offer discounts of upto 30% at the time of renewal.

28. Can TravelPulse be installed in all vehicles?

Yes. TravelPulse can be installed in all vehicles upto 10 years old except high end vehicles viz. Mercedes, Audi, BMW etc.

29. What is Remote Immobilization? Do you provide it?

Remote Immobalization means remotely shutting down the engine of your car. In case of theft, you can track your car in real-time & immobilize your car at appropriate time and place by calling and notifying our dedicated 24x7 Call Centre.

30. Why I am not able to receive notifications?

Check if you are logged in TravelPulse App.
Check if vehicle is in network.
Check if Notification preferences are set for vehicle for which you are not receiving notifications.
Check Phone settings - Turn On TravelPulse Notification, Turn Off Battery Optimization. Turn Off Battery Saving Mode.
Uninstall the app, Install latest version of TravelPulse and login
Check Link for settings related to notifications (How To Fix Broken Push Notifications On Oppo, Vivo, Huawei, Xiaomi,Phones)

Note : Notifications don't work in device versions mentioned below:

31. Why Vehicle is not in network?

There may be No-Network at specific location Or may be not getting GSM/GPRS network Or may be not getting GPS signal where vehicle is parked, e.g. underground basement lot.
Further,if device is not connected(tampered) then vehicle will show as No-network.

32. Why I am facing issues while login? Or Why TravelPulse App getting crashed when opened?

Uninstall app and install latest version of TravelPulse and login

33. Why Real-time-tracking not getting updated?

Your Phone internet speed is too slow or phone is in No-Network area, Please check.
